Three Generations of Commitment
Using the basic guidelines of good customer service, hard work, and pride, Irvin “Mac” McWilliams retired from the US Navy and put his skills to work. He traded his sailor’s hat for a technician hat when he started McWilliams Appliance and Refrigeration in 1974. A few years later, his son, Irvin McWilliams, Jr. joined the business and Mac changed the name to McWilliams and Son Heating and Air Conditioning. Following in Mac’s footsteps, Irvin began working as a helper while still in high school and eventually became President of the company. Trey McWilliams, Irvin’s son, and the 3rd generation, has followed in their example. Since he was a little boy, Trey has worked side by side with his father and grandfather, wearing multiple hats from tool helper, to service technician and eventually, Founder & Board Member.
